DOING BUSINESS WITH COUNCIL

Event description

Blue Mountains City Council manages over 6000 ha of bushland reserve.  We seek to engage with experienced local businesses doing work in the walking tracks, bush regeneration and landscaping sectors to increase their skills and confidence in developing successful tender applications.
Our Doing business with Council workshop is facilitated by Col Lange, founder of Lange Consulting & Software and the past designer and owner of the APET software used for Council’s Tenders and RFQs. Col has been working with local government and the business community since 1997 and he has previously consulted and trained at Blue Mountains City Council.  He was appointed to AusIndustry’s panel of tender writing trainers in 2017.
Col delivers lively and practical training sessions covering:
• Procurement fundamentals
• How best to use the APET software
• Practical tips about how to write an application to give you a better chance of winning
Colin is keen to engage with you, to hear from you and to help you succeed.

Afternoon tea will be provided.
